If you have never sought the advice of an accountant or had to have a document notarized, you have been fortunate. If you have never had your electricity restored by a line technician, your HVAC repaired by an electrician or a problem solved by a licensed plumber, you have been lucky. If you have never had to call on the assistance of a law enforcement officer, never had to experience the professional care of a nurse, or your life saved by a firefighter or emergency medical technician, you have been blessed.

Nash Community College provides the education, training and certification for jobs and professions that have a direct and personal impact on our daily lives. The economic and physical well being of Nash County depends on the quality of the programs that Nash Community College provides.

Nash Community College is experiencing an enormous growth in its enrollment and, consequently, an increased demand on its facilities. The construction of a new Continuing Education and Public Services building will provide state-of-the art technology for the training of Nash County’s first responders. The new facility also will free up space in the college’s existing buildings for expanding current degree programs to meet the needs that already exist in our local workforce.

Nash Community College has a close and viable partnership with many of the business and industries that are vital to the county’s economic recovery. Growth cannot be expected in a stagnant environment.

These companies must invest in new technologies and business strategies. These employers turn to NCC for the training and continuing education needs of their workforce. The college in return responds with customized training to fit local industry needs.
