WAKE FOREST - Elizabeth Renee’
Waddell and Scott Lee Grosshandler were married at 3:00 in the
afternoon Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 at Wakefield Baptist Church in Wake Forest.

Buchanan performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Waddell, Jr. of Rocky Mount.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Mary D. Grosshandler of Raleigh and the late Dr. Stanley L.Grosshandler.
The bride was escorted by her father and was given in marriage by her parents.
Ms. Beverly Bulluck of Elm City, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridemaid was Mrs. Pebble Puryear of Boonville, cousin of the bride.
Junior bridesmaids were Miss Lauren
Grosshandler and Miss Abby Grosshandler, both of Raleigh and nieces of the groom.
Mr. Todd
Grosshandler of Raleigh, brother of the groom served as best man.
Groomsman was Mr. Steve Eckard of Raleigh, friend of the groom.

Raleigh, nephew of the groom.
Ushers were Mr. Kyle Barnhart of Anchorage, Ala., nephew of the groom, Mr. Connor Holt of West Point, N.Y., nephew of the groom, Mr. Harrison Shanklin of Raleigh, nephew of the groom and Mr.
Taylor Shanklin of Raleigh, nephew of the groom.
Donovan Shanklin of Holly Springs, nephew of the groom served as ring bearer.
A reception, dinner, and dance were held at Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh following the wedding ceremony.
Greeters at the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Poteat of Raleigh, friends of the wedding couple.
Miss Taylor Holt of Bronx, N.Y., niece of the groom served as guest book registry.
Miss Erica Barnhart of Anchorage, Ala., niece of the groom served as program
attendant.
Music was provided by Mr. Randy Bridges, soloist and Mrs. Laura Laird, pianist.
Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica the couple now resides in Raleigh.
The bride graduated from Northern Nash High School and East Carolina University.
She is employed by Wake County Public Schools in Raleigh as a classroom teacher.
The groom graduated from Athens Drive High School and Wake Technical College.
He is employed by Enthalpy Analytical Inc. in Durham as an analyst.
On Aug. 28, 2011, an engagement luncheon was hosted by the parents of the bride at Nantucket Grill in Raleigh.
On Oct. 20, 2011, a bridal shower was hosted by co-workers at Wakefield Elementary School in Raleigh.
On Oct. 29, 2011, a bridesmaid luncheon was hosted by Mrs. Mary Harwood and Mrs. Christie Harrell of Rocky Mount at Olde English Tea Room in Wake Forest.
Oct. 30, 2011, a bridal showers was hosted by Ms. Beverly Bulluck and friends of the bride at Wakefield Baptist Church in Wake Forest.
Nov. 4, 2011, a bachelor outing was hosted by Todd Grosshandler, brother and best man of the groom at Bella Monica Restaurant and RBC Center.
Nov. 5, 2011, a bachelorette outing was hosted by Ms. Beverly Bulluck and friends of the bride at Golden Sakura Japanese Steak House and Rum Runners.
Nov. 10, 2011, an Alaskan Fish Feast was hosted by Mrs. Cathe Grosshandler, sister of the groom of Anchorage, Ala. in Raleigh.
Nov. 11, 2011, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the couples families at Villages of Wakefield Club House.
Nov. 12, 2011, a post reception party was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Todd Grosshandler at their home in Raleigh.
Nov. 13, 2011, a Sunday brunch was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Todd Grosshandler for the wedding party and out of town guest at their home in Raleigh.
