Anna Dorsett Lea and Joseph Forrest Moore were married at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.

Dominquez performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philp Bunn Lea.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. Franklin Raymond Dorsett, Jr., the late Anne Blunt Dorsett, Mrs. Philip Pell Lea and the late Mr. Philip Pell Lea.
The groom is the son of Mr. Joseph Lewis Moore, Jr. and the late Julia Fesperman Moore.
Grandparents of the groom are Mrs. William Forrest Fesperman, the late Mr. Fesperman and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lewis Moore, Sr.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Miss Katherine Pell Lea of Raleigh, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Amanda Proctor Mullen, Miss Laura Ann Kornegay, Mrs.Elizabeth Waller Lynch, all of Raleigh, Mrs.

Margaret Fesperman Fields of Albermarle and Rebecca Bralley Gorham of Raleigh served as scripture readers.

A reception was held at Stonewall Manor.
Following a wedding trip to Belize, the couple will live in Raleigh.
The bride graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High School and Wake Forest University. She is employed as an Economic Developer by the North Carolina Department of Commerce. The bride was presented by The Terpsichorean Club at the 2002 North Carolina Debutante Ball.
The groom graduated from Needham B. Broughton High School and North Carolina State University. He is employed as the Operations Manager at Joe Moore & Company.
On Aug. 6, 2011, an engagement party was hosted by friends of the bride and groom in Raleigh.
On Sept. 16, 2011, a bachelorette weekend was hosted by Katherine Lea in Asheville.
On Sept. 30, 2011, a bachelor weekend was hosted by friends of the groom at Pine Mountain Farm in Creston, N.C.
On Oct. 2, 2011, a wedding shower was hosted by friends at the home of Mrs. Deborah Muller.
On Oct. 22, 2011, an outdoor luncheon was hosted by the family of the groom at the home of William and Laura Fields in Albemarle.
On Nov. 11, 2011, a bridal luncheon was hosted by Mrs. Bunny Lea, Mrs. Joyce Rose and Mrs. Ramsay Gorham at The Main Street Inn in Tarboro.
On Nov. 11, 2011, a rehearsal dinner was given at Rose Hill Farm by the father of the groom.
On Nov. 11, 2011, an after rehearsal dance was given at Rose Hill Farm by friends and family of the bride.
On Nov. 12, 2011, a lunch for wedding guests was given by aunts of the groom.
