Emily Francine Gschwind and Michael Brock Morris were married at 3 p.m. July 21, 2012 at Sunset Avenue Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.
Dr. Robin D. Fisher performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Darryl and Fran Gschwind of Nashville.
Grandparents of the bride are Havoline Gschwind of Plano, Texas, and Russell and Carolyn Greene of Nashville.
The groom is the son of Jerry and Diane
Morris of Black Mountain.
Grandparents of the groom are Sharon
Harrell of Asheville, and Charles and Sylvia
Morris of Black Mountain.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Darryl Gschwind.
Mandi Matthews of Rocky Mount, friend of the bride and groom, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were
Sarah Jo Bouldin of Rocky Mount, friend of the bride and groom, Laura Gschwind and Hannah Gschwind both of Nashville, both sisters of the bride.
Lindsey Pridgen of Rocky Mount, friend of the bride, served as flower girl.
Ashley Pridgen and Kenleigh Wilder both of Rocky Mount, both friends of the bride, served as Program
Attendants.
Jerry Morris of Black Mountain, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Matthew Gschwind of Nashville, brother of the bride, Stephen Morris and Joseph Morris both of Black Mountain, both brothers of the groom.
Music was provided by Drew Johnson as Pianist, Sara Langston as Soloist, and Sarah Jo Bouldin as Flutist.
Deborah Davis of Rocky Mount, friend of the bride, served as
Wedding Director.
A reception was held following the ceremony at The Sunset Avenue Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
Following a wedding cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will live in Greenville.
The bride graduated from Northern Nash High School and East Carolina University with a B.S. in Nursing.
She is employed by Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
The groom graduated from Asheville Christian Academy and East Carolina University with a B.S. in English and a B.S. in English Education.
He is employed by Pitt County Schools.
On June 3, 2012, in honor of the couple, a shower was hosted by Russell and Carolyn Greene, grandparents
of the bride, at their home.
On June 24, 2012, in honor of the couple, a shower was hosted by friends from Sunset
Avenue Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.
On July 20, 2012, an after-rehearsal dinner was hosted by Jerry and Diane Morris, parents of the groom, at Sunset Avenue Baptist Church, in the Fellowship Hall.
On Aug. 4, 2012, in honor of the couple, a Celebration of Marriage was hosted by Jerry and Diane Morris, parents of the groom, at The Black Mountain Golf Club in Black Mountain.
