Mr. & Mrs. George S. Edwards, Jr. of Rocky Mount celebrated their 60th anniversary on April 28, 2012 at their home with their loving family.
The Edwards’ have four children, Allen Edwards and wife
Lynette, Pat Edwards, Judy Edwards Cooper, Tonya Edwards Nelms and husband Charles.
They have six grandchildren, Kim Whitley, Candice Jones, Joy Spivey, Travis Edwards, Ryan Edwards and Brad Nelms.
They have fifteen great grandchildren, Our late beloved “C.J.” Jones, Cassidy and Caleb Jones, Will Spivey, Trevor and Brett Toler, Brianna and Walker Edwards, Tatum, Alysia, Adam and Dean
Edwards, Grace, Jack and Luke Bailey.
The Edwards’ were married on April 28, 1952 in Emporia Va.
Mrs. Edwards is the former Gloria Yvonne Edwards.
