'Coffee with a Cop' meetings to resume next week

Rocky Mount residents are invited to enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast Monday morning with local officers during Coffee with a Cop.

The informal event will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. at Hardees, 886 W. Raleigh Blvd., with various members of the Rocky Mount Police Department on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.

Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative geared toward connecting residents with officers during non-emergency situations. Each month officers will gather at a local Hardees to meet with residents.
