The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to have partnered with the Rocky Mount Rotary Club to raise over $3,700 at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser. All proceeds will be used to purchase new educational materials for local third grade students.
“We enjoyed working with the Rocky Mount Rotary Club to help raise funds for local students and hope to partner with them again in the future,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “Thank you to all the guests and volunteers who helped make this event a great success.”
The Rocky Mount Rotary Club fundraiser was hosted Oct. 5, at the Applebee’s restaurant located at 1120 Wesleyan Blvd. The organization sold 600 tickets throughout the community. Breakfast included a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
Applebee’s is proud to partner with local noprofit organizations as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers.
Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent one of the company’s efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
