RALEIGH — Police have charged a third person in the shooting death of a man near the N.C. State University campus in Raleigh.
Twenty-three-year-old Todd Antwan Harris was arrested Tuesday in Franklin County.
Harris and two others are charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 29-year-old Markeith Alexander Tennessee around 12:30 a.m. Monday at an apartment building.
Prison records show Harris had been out of prison little more than three months after being released on an armed robbery conviction.
The other defendants are 21-year-old Quamir Alteriq Rogers and 27-year-old Twanisha Stewart.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting but have said they don't think it was a random act.
It was not clear if Harris has an attorney.
