-Personal Opinion-

In last week's Nashville Graphic, it was reported that the NRMS School Board is going to move forward with taking NCSBA classes to the tune of around $68,000 (11 board members * 5 Classes each * $1250 per class average) this year even though they are only required by law to take 4 classes. This comes off as odd, considering the NRMS board chairman just happens to also be the president elect of the NCSBA.

They are also creating/adding several new "Administrative" positions this year, even though they are cutting "classroom" positions because of these budget cuts. Instead of adding to the Administrative level of NRMS, they should be directing those funds towards those "in classroom" positions that are being cut, unless the NRMS board doesn't really believe those "in classroom" jobs are valuable and needed.
