Rocky Mount police are searching for three Nash Central High School students who allegedly robbed a classmate Wednesday at the school.

Authorities said a teenager told police three students — Derek Gay, 18, Deshaun Williams, 17, and Demazi Jaquon Gary, 17 — assaulted him then stole an undisclosed item. The victim was not injured.

Police obtained felony warrants for common law robbery against the three suspects, but they have not been apprehended. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111 or crimestoppers@rockymountnc.gov.

Police also arrested a Rocky Mount High School student Wednesday after police seized two grams of marijuana. Milton Richardson, 17, was charged on citation with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
