The AP count is one fewer than the Defense Department's tally, last updated Monday at 10 a.m. EST.
The British military has reported 178 deaths; Italy, 33; Ukraine, 18; Poland, 21; Bulgaria, 13; Spain, 11; Denmark, seven; El Salvador, five; Slovakia, four; Latvia and Georgia, three each; Estonia, Netherlands, Thailand and Romania, two each; and Australia, Hungary, Kazakhstan and South Korea, one death each.

— A soldier died Sunday in a noncombat-related incident near Samarra, Iraq.
— A Marine died Sunday in a noncombat-related incident west of Baghdad.

— Army Staff Sgt. Justin L. Bauer, 24, Loveland, Colo.; died Saturday in Baghdad of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle; was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
