Gary Glisson of Ward Drug Co. in Nashville was among the 350 pharmacy owners from around the country who attended the third annual Independent Pharmacy Business Growth Conference held Feb. 5-7 here.
Also attending were Ward Drug staff members Julie Leonard and Lisa Baker.
Attendees learned how to enhance the customer experience at their pharmacies, including how to create an employee culture to support this.
“It is all about the customer – solving problems and pleasing them,” Glisson said. “We are looking forward to taking that process to an entirely different level in Nashville.”
Glisson and Leonard are registered pharmacists at Ward Drug. Baker is the pharmacy’s education director.
Ward Drug is at 117 W. Church St.
