Police have arrested two teenage suspects in connection with the Tuesday night homicide of a 16-year-old.
According to police reports, officers were called around 11 p.m. to the 900 block of Redgate Avenue about a shooting. When they arrived, they reportedly found Murray Deshawn Chamberlain dead in a yard behind the address on Redgate.

Police also charged a 15-year-old male with accessory after the fact and took him to Pitt Juvenile Detention Facility in Greenville.
Chamberlain’s death is the 11th homicide for Rocky Mount in 2010. Arrests have been made in all, but two of the deaths.
