Police reach out to public to solve homicide cases dating back to ’77

The five homicides that occurred within Rocky Mount city limits in 2013, a double homicide in 2012 and a 2009 fatal robbery were solved by detectives this year. Officials still working the city’s unsolved homicides are hoping residents will come forward with information to make arrests to help close those cases.
