New charter school moves to permanent site

Before John Westberg could speak into the podium’s microphone Thursday at North East Carolina Prep’s new, permanent site, he was met with a raucous standing ovation from hundreds of students, parents and local elected officials applauding his efforts that have led to the creation of Edgecombe County’s first charter school.
