FAYETTEVILLE — Authorities in Southern Pines say they arrested the same man three times in a 28-hour span.

The Fayetteville Observer reported that Southern Pines Police Lt. Rodney Hardy said 22-year-old Deadrian Tyrell Braziel was arrested Thursday evening for vandalism. Hardy said Braziel ran from officers but was apprehended.

Braziel also was charged with being a fugitive in Delaware, where he was wanted for first-degree robbery displaying a firearm and possessing a controlled substance. Hardy said Braziel posted bond but was arrested on Friday and accused in the robbery of a restaurant.

Again, Braziel posted bond but was arrested Friday evening on a number of drug charges. Officers found heroin and prescription medication along with two semiautomatic handguns.

At the urging of the district attorney, Braziel’s bond was set at $250,000.
