WILMINGTON — A second person has pleaded guilty in the slaying of a Wilmington food delivery driver two years ago.
The StarNews of Wilmington reports that 20-year-old Marvin Lee White pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
White is one of six people charged in the ambush slaying of 60-year-old Zhen Bo Liu in June of 2012. Two of those charged face charges of first-degree murder.
In exchange for the guilty plea, White has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors.
The suspects ranged in age from 15 to 20 when they were arrested. Authorities contend they ordered food from a Chinese restaurant in a scheme to lure the delivery driver to a dark street so they could rob him.
