CHINA GROVE — Authorities said a woman has died after an explosion caused a fire at an archery supply store in Rowan County.

Deputies say the woman ran into a bathroom after the explosion Friday night at S&S Graham Archery. Four others in the business ran out a door and survived.

Authorities say chemicals in the business appeared to cause the explosion, but they weren’t sure exactly what happened. The business also does taxidermy.

The identity of the woman killed has not been released.
