Heat poses danger to children in cars

As a working mother of two, Carissa Carter said she trusted a local daycare to watch her children during the day. She said she was devastated to learn staff at the daycare she’d been using for almost six years reportedly left her 5-year-old son alone in a hot van during a June trip to a local store.
