Extended school days will begin Monday at Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools to regain lost instructional time due to inclement weather.

Classes at all elementary schools will be from 8:15 a.m. to 3:45. Classes at middle schools will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., except Nash Central, which will hold classes from 7:20 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. All high schools except for the Tar River Academy and the Early College High School will hold classes from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tar River Academy classes will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Early College High School classes will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The extended days will run through May 23, when elementary and middle school students will begin End-of-Grade testing.
