Council hears complaints about blasting at quarry

Although the issue was not on the City Council’s agenda for Monday, Jeanette Thomas-Cobb spoke about blasting operations going on at Hanson Quarry near her home.e_SClB“I had no idea when I bought our home that we would be subjected to blasting that I can feel in my bedroom,” Thomas-Cobb said. “I’m not pleased. I am not happy.”
