The Nash Health Care Auxiliary is gearing up for its sixth annual Lights of Love project.
Lights may be purchased in honor of or in memory of someone special for $5 each. The lights will be placed on Christmas trees located in the hospital lobby and will be illuminated at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 24 during a special tree-lighting ceremony.
A Book of Remembrance with each name listed will be placed alongside the trees, which will shine throughout the month of December. The ceremony will feature a reading of all the names of persons being honored or remembered along with special music provided by the children’s choir from Nashville Praise and Worship, followed by a reception.
Purchasers of lights, honorees, and family members of those being remembered will be invited.
Profits from this year's event will be used to purchase needed equipment for Nash Health Care in order that we may continue to meet the needs of our community and surrounding area. Contributions are tax-deductible.
For more information or to request a light, please call Jackie Ward at 443-2684 or the Auxiliary office at 443-8118.
