The Junior Guild of Rocky Mount Inc. is proud to announce that J'Taime Brion Lyons is the recipient of the 2009 Junior Guild Scholarship.

The scholarship, presented annually to a young woman residing in the Rocky Mount area planning to attend a four-year college or university, is based on financial need, scholastic excellence and outstanding citizenship.

Lyons is planning to attend Wake Forest University and is a recent graduate of Northern Nash High School.
