The law firm of HensonFuerst P.A. recently provided a $10,000 corporate sponsorship to the American Diabetes Association for their 2009 Tour de Cure.
The Tour de Cure is a charity cycling event that was held June 6 and 7 at the Koka Booth Amphitheater to raise money for a cure for diabetes.
HensonFuerst, which operates offices in Rocky Mount and Raleigh, also sponsored a 30-member cycling team, captained by the firm’s CEO, Thomas W. Henson Jr., that participated in the 150-mile ride.
This year, the HensonFuerst team raised more than $14,000 in donations for the event in addition to the firm’s $10,000 contribution.
