Members of the Rocky Mount Garden Club met Oct. 22 at Nash Grove Manor in Nashville to do miniature flower arrangements for the residents.
From an assortment of flowers and greenery, many of the residents participated with the Garden Club members in the making of arrangements for their rooms. This activity was rewarding for both Garden Club members and the residents.
The Rocky Mount Garden Club joined sixteen other Garden Clubs on Oct. 21 for a district meeting in Pactolus, N.C.
District President Georgia Mixon presided at the meeting. All sixteen presidents gave reports of their activities for the year. Rocky Mount President Brenda Crocker was presented a blue ribbon for the outstanding yearbook award.
