'Choir Fest 2009' to benefit Red Cross

Four church choirs will perform Friday in “Choir Fest 2009,” a gospel concert to benefit the American Red Cross Frederick E. Turnage Chapter. The event will begin at 7pm at the Dunn Center for the Performing Arts at N.C. Wesleyan College.
Attendees will enjoy performances by East End Baptist Choir, Ridgecrest Worship Center Choir, Middlesex Church of God Choir and Word Tabernacle Choir and Insight Drama Team.
“This is a great community event,” said Daryle Coppedge, event organizer. “It will be a wonderful show featuring excellent choirs who are uniting to support a good cause.”
Tickets are $10 each and available for purchase through the Dunn Center Belk Box Office, 252-985-5197. All proceeds benefit the American Red Cross Frederick E. Turnage Chapter.
