Batts graduates from N.C. A&T

Ashley Nicole Batts recently graduated from N.C. Agricultural & Technical University.

The daughter of David and Robin Batts Sr. of Rocky Mount, Batts is a 2005 graduate of SouthWest Edgecombe High School.

She received her bachelor’s degree in agricultural education (secondary). She graduated with honors cum laude, served as the 2008-09 secretary of the FFA and a 2008-09 senator in the Student Government Association. She was inducted in the Gamma Sigma Delta Honor Society of Agriculure and has also been on the Dean’s List since Spring 2006.

Batts will be continuing her education this fall by pursuing a master’s degree in agricutural education and extension at Iowa State University.
