Barnes serves as House page

Robert Barnes, a student at Rocky Mount High School, recently served as a Page for the N.C. House of Representatives.

He is the son of Russell and Martha Barnes of Rocky Mount and was sponsored by N.C. Rep. Randy Stewart, D-Nash. Speaker of the House Joe Hackney, D-Orange, appoints the pages and introduces each one to members and citizens in the House gallery at the start of each week during Monday night’s session.
