City overbills natural gas customers

All Rocky Mount natural gas customers can expect a credit on next month’s bill after an error caused overbilling in February.

I sure it was all a mistake, wink wink. Nobody makes a 15% mistake. The question is what did they need the money for this month? Maybe they have a transfer to the general fund. Also why are we not charged per cubic foot and not a therm ? Seems like it would be easier to calculate bills and then you wouldn't have this kind of problem. Everyone should go read your meter today and check the math from now own. Seems you can' trust no one in Rocky Mount City government.
