Rocky Mount police have arrested two men and are searching for three others in a gang-related shooting of a 25-year-old Rocky Mount man.
Chavis Gabriel Bohol suffered a gunshot wound to the head around 4 p.m. Tuesday while in his home at 832 Sutton Road. Bohol is in stable condition at Nash General Hospital but could be released, said Rocky Mount Police Capt. Martin McCoy.
The police department arrested Corey Eason, 21, and Raymond Brown, 18. The two Pinetops men were charged with assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting serious injury and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling. Both could face an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a felon, McCoy said.
McCoy said the relationship between the three men was "an ongoing rivalry."
"We are interested in three other persons of interest that were in a vehicle that was seen leaving the scene," McCoy said.
The men were in a 2001 gray Tahoe.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Twin County Crime Stoppers at 977-1111.
