A Nashville store clerk was robbed at knifepoint Thursday night.

Two men with scarves over their faces walked into Karim Grocery Store on South 1st Street in Nashville and pulled a knife on the clerk, according to police reports.

One of the men held a large knife to the clerk's throat while the other jumped over the counter and took approximately $450.

The men, described as about 6 feet tall and black, were wearing blue jeans and black jackets.

The Nashville Police Department has not yet identified the suspects.

They fled the scene upon cleaning out the cash register, leaving behind the clerk and – as a result of the hop over the counter – a busted jar of pickles.
