FITNESS
Senior fitness: The Rocky Mount Senior Center will hold a senior low-impact stretch class at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The monthly cost is $5 for city residents and $7.50 for others. For information, call 972-1152.
Walking: The city of Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation Department will hold “Step It Off!” classes from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Booker T. Washington Community Center. Classes are held on a drop-in basis, and the cost is $5 per class. For information, call 467-4925.

Health services: The Nash County Health Department has expanded its child and adolescent health clinic at its Nashville and Rocky Mount offices. Mammograms: The Nash County Health Department has received funding through Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Carolina Triangle to the Coast Affiliate to provide no-cost mammograms to qualifying women in Nash County who do not have insurance or other means to pay.
