West Haven Presbyterian Church will offer a concert later this month by award-winning violinist Olga Caceanova.

The program, which begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, includes works by Bela Bartok, Camille Saint-Saens and Maurice Ravel.

Among her many honors, Caceanova is a laureate of 2011 Hudson Valley String Competition. She also has won the 2005 Kiev International Violin, 2002 Sinai and 2000 Luxembourg Music competitions and was the recipient of the 2009 St. Botolph Club Foundation Emerging Artists Grant, a news release says.

As a member of Kremlin Chamber Orchestra, Caceanova extensively has performed in the United States and Europe. Her European concerts include performances at numerous prestigious venues in Russia, including Glazunov Hall at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and at the Moscow Conservatory.

The Moldova-born musician began studying violin at an early age and continued her training at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and Cambridge University. She completed her musical studies under Donald Weilerstein at the New England Conservatory and has participated in master classes with Zakhar Bron and Grigory Gislin.

The church is at 1001 West Haven Blvd.

For information, call West Haven’s pastor, the Rev. Connie Button, at 446-5226.
