Dressed in a pink bathing suit, beach visor, water goggles and carrying an inflatable inner tube around her neck, the 5-year-old Vizsla named Apple took home the first place trophy Saturday for “Best Dressed” at the second Annual Paws in the Park at Sunset Park.

Hats off to Mr. John Battle and Crew
The 2nd Annual Paws in the Park was wonderfully managed! Thanks to Mr. Battle and all the city workers and sponsors who helped put this together. A special thank you goes to the tireless MC (whose name I cannot recall) who kept things going all day long; I'm sure she must have been quite hoarse the next day! It was super to be a part of something this "pawsitive" in our city! Can't wait for next year's event.
Great day in the park
The Paws in the Park event this past Saturday was a great event for the City of RMT. We need more of this type of event. The only complaint I have is the blue flippy blow up man, terrified my dog. He spent most of the event shaking and trying to avoid it. He eventually found some doggie friends and calmed down but I'd like to request that next year you don't have something like that right in the event area. Thanks! Long time resident hoping for better things to come for us all.
