Fall registration for returning students was held July 16-17 at Nash Community College.

Due to continued growth, the college is offering two orientation sessions for the fall. Extended registration for new students will be held Aug. 13-14. Online registration for returning students is open until Aug. 4 and re-opens for extended registration on Aug. 7.

People interested in taking Continuing Education classes can register now to explore a variety of special-interest topics such as herbs in the kitchen, fall and holiday appetizers, couponing, photography, jewelry making and more.

The college also will sponsor a Beer Tasting and Oyster Roast from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 23 being offered through the Continuing Education program. Participants will learn about preparing oysters and sample a variety of rich, non-traditional seasonal beers in celebration of Oktoberfest.

Fall classes begin August 18. Visit www.nashcc.edu for more information.
