Forty nominations for English and reading faculty committee members were submitted by North Carolina community colleges to the N.C. Community College System Office. Upon review of the nominations, a selection committee recommended 18 faculty members to the serve on the Redesign Task Force.

Franchesca holds a bachelor’s degree in English and public relations from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, a master’s degree in public administration and graduate hours in English from East Carolina University. She has been employed with Nash Community College since 2005.
