Nash Community College’s Drama Club recently awarded the Nash Community College Foundation $200 for student scholarships.

The gift was from ticket sales from the October “Night of One Acts.” The NCC Foundation was established in October 1983 to increase community awareness, raise funds for the student scholarship program and to help meet the needs of Nash Community College. These resources ensure that deserving students have the financial capability to take advantage of the quality instruction and higher educational opportunities the College provides. The Nash Community College Foundation awarded 189 scholarships totaling $175,000 for the 2011-2012 academic year.
