The teens from the Christian Homeschool Association of Rocky Mount recently baked cookies for local first responders.

They made enough cookies to take to 10 area fire and police departments and the emergency room at Nash General Hospital.

They said wanted to let the service folks know how much they appreciate all they do. It was a great time of fellowship for the teens and moms as well as an opportunity for the teens to be involved in a community service effort.
