The Ugandan Thunder Children’s Choir will perform at 1:45 p.m. April 10 at Princeville Elementary School.
The internationally acclaimed choir consists of 22 ages 8 to 16 who represent approximately 5,000 orphans who attend the Royal School and Morning Star Orphanage School in Mityana, Uganda.
“Although these precious ‘Angels of God’ come from one of the poorest countries on the planet, you will be amazed at the genuine joy and peace expressed in their young lives,” said Milton Bullock, CEO of Do It For The Children’s Initiatives & Programs Inc. that is sponsoring the local performance. “This is not just another concert; this could be life-changing for many.”
The Do It For The Kid’s VIP will provide vision screening to the Ugandan children while they’re visiting America – “a service we look towards every year” Bulluck said.
The Ugandan Thunder USA Tour is being sponsored by Pennies for Posho Ministries, a nonprofit Christian ministry that provides food, clothing, shelter and clean drinking water for 14 orphanages in Uganda.
