South Village Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center had its first March Madness ACC Basketball Tournament on March 8.

The residents wore their favorite team’s colors and went head to head against each other to win the tournament for their team. Center Administrator Linda Tharrington, along with the management staff, served as team coaches, while Anna Romanus, Community Relations Representative for United Hospice, called all the shots as the referee.

Not sure if it’s a forecast or not – but the hooting and hollering, basket making and teamwork lead the residents on the Carolina team to a victory.
