SCOTLAND NECK – Regeneration Development Group has been awarded one of the six Field Volunteers In Service to America Associate positions made available through the N.C. Association of Community Development Corporations’ Volunteers In Service to America Associate Program.
The Volunteers In Service to America Program is a Federal Government program that places individuals in nonprofit organizations and public agencies to support efforts to fight poverty.
N.C. Association of Community Development Corporations’ Volunteers In Service to America Associate Program focuses on capacity building of the host site, (Regeneration) in Program Development, Fiscal Management Services, and Strategic Planning.
Victoria Dolberry is a native of Hobgood.
Her parents are Vicky Lee and Cassandra Dolberry.
Dolberry is also the granddaughter of Mr. Harry Sr. and Shirley Dolberry, and the late Easter C. Hilliard. She is a recent Cum Laude graduate of N.C. Central University. She receives a baccalaureate of art in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.
Dolberry volunteered at Scotland Neck Senior Center, and Sylvan Heights Bird Park, in Scotland Neck in the past.
Dolberry is assigned to Regeneration from November 2012 to November 2013.
