Patrick Kennedy of Red Oak recently received a double master’s degree in health administration and leadership and organizational change from Pfeiffer University.
Kennedy serves as the compliance officer and revenue integrity manager at Nash Health Care, where he has worked for more than 10 years.
As a part of his graduate coursework, Kennedy spent one week in Germany to fulfill an international health care studies requirement. In Germany, Kennedy and other graduate students spoke with health care providers and officials, attended seminars, visited with German health care graduate students, and visited two university research hospitals along with a long-term care nursing facility.
“My time in Germany was extremely beneficial to my graduate learning experience and gave us a great opportunity to gain a different perspective on how health care services are delivered outside the United States,” Kennedy said. “It was a wonderful cultural and educational experience.”
Kennedy, originally from Thomasville, earned his bachelor’s degree in health information management at East Carolina University.
