Suzette Brett, center, was recognized as Nash County Department of Social Services 2011 Employee of the Year on Jan. 17. Brett is a Social Worker II in the Child Care Subsidy Program and a 15-year employee. Brett is a strong advocate for Relay for Life and shows compassion toward her coworkers as well as the clients she serves, officials said.
