Jackie Mallory and Ivey Parker were named Nash County Department of Social Services 2012 Employees of the Year on Jan. 29.

Mallory has been with the agency for 13 years and is an accounting clerk V in administration. She always is looking for more efficient and

effective ways to complete tasks and offers to assist others when she sees there is a need.

Parker has been with the agency for 14 years as an income maintenance caseworker in Family and Children’s Medicaid. Known for her helpful and

positive nature, she enhances her unit through teamwork and support.
