Explosions of color and style were the hallmark of the recent Scholarship Fashion Show at the Booker T. Washington Resource Center.
Sponsored by TLB Entertainment and hosted by Tammi Archer and Terry Batts, the event featured a runway presentation of spring fashion trends of classic and confident styles.
Seventeen models from across Eastern North Carolina strutted a 45-foot walkway in five fashionable acts with complementing music in the backdrop of each scene.
The acts were Summer Fun, Professional with a Touch of Class, Night Life, A Confidence Scene, The Wedding and The Finale.
The event included music by Blaaz, Trayvion, J. Renee, Tyree, Courtnee Greene and Cheryl Scott during each intermission of the show. The show also featured vendors demonstrating their creations for sale in wonderful and colorful displays.
Vendors included Bee Bop’z Kidz Boutique, Traci Lynn’s Fashion Jewelry sold by Gwen Jones, Bar-None Bartenders for Hire and Mary Kay sold by Cynthia Batts.
Clothes for the event were provided by Marcella Thorne’s “Creating a New You.”
The fashion show was filmed by Fonte’lyles of Te’vizion Productions.
