The Rocky Mount Evening and Luncheon Lions Clubs will sponsor the 14th annual Rocky Mount Lions Club Golf Tournament on Aug. 12 at Birchwood Country Club.

The four-man Superball tournament will have shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The purpose of the tournament is to raise funds to support the programs the Rocky Mount Lions Clubs offers to needy residents in the community.

The entry fee is $300 per four-member team.

The field will be limited to 26 teams on a first-come, first-served basis. Prizes will be awarded and trophies presented for closest to the pin, longest drive and other feats.

Refreshments will be served before and during the tournament.

Refreshments, fellowship, competition, golf and prizes all come for $75 per player.
