Leadership Twin Counties tours ECC

Members of the 2013-14 Leadership Twin Counties class visited Edgecombe Community College on May 7 to learn about several college initiatives.

Participants toured the mobile medical simulation lab and the Norfleet House, a historic home on the Tarboro campus currently under renovation by historic preservation students. Dr. Deborah Lamm, president of the college, reported on the state of the college, and George Anderson, director of customized training, described sustainability projects on campus grounds and in classrooms.

Leadership Twin Counties is a nine-month leadership development program of the Rocky Mount Area and Tarboro-Edgecombe chambers of commerce.

Carmen Nunalee, general counsel at Edgecombe Community College, is a member of the 2013-2014 Leadership Twin Counties class.
