Rocky Mount-based SCORE Domestic will sponsor its 2014 Golf Fundraiser on Sept. 22 at Belmont Lake Golf Club.

Registration will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Proceeds will provide scholarships for SCORE’s Ministry Leadership Interns and missions outreach programs in the United States.

The tournament is limited to 25 teams, and the entry fee is $150 per person or $600 per foursome. The entry fee includes cart, green fees, lunch, dinner, prizes, giveaways and a silent auction.

Prizes will be given for first-, second- and third-place teams, guess the distance, $1,000 team putting prize and a $25,000 hole-in-one prize. Registration is available online at http://yom.org/golf-registration/.

SCORE Domestic was founded in Rocky Mount as Youth On Mission in 1992. Over the past 22 years, the ministry has sent more than 65,000 people on short-term mission trips. In 2012, Youth On Mission merged with Chattanooga, Tenn.-based SCORE International and became SCORE Domestic.

SCORE Domestic works with churches, schools and ministries to reach local communities through sports camps, construction projects, backyard Bible clubs, dramas, concerts and Vacation Bible Schools throughout the United States.
