The Rocky Mount Evening Optimist Club recently selected two Faith Christian School students as its Optimistic Learners for January and February.

Morgan Pridgen, a fifth-grade student at Faith Christian School, was selected as the club’s January 2014 Optimistic Learner.

Ross Pennington, a fifth-grade student at Faith Christian School, was selected as the club’s February 2014 Optimistic Learner.

he Optimistic Learner program was implemented by the Rocky Mount Evening Optimist Club in 2007. A Rocky Mount area fifth-grade student who has demonstrated that he or she is striving with a positive attitude to do their best with their schoolwork is selected by the club each month as the Optimistic Learner.
