Members of PFLAG Rocky Mount are participating in Care with PRIDE, the national organization’s partnership with the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies and Walgreens Family of Companies.

“This campaign underlines the important work of PFLAG chapters and businesses to support safe schools programs for all children,” said Lela Chesson. “Our local campaign includes the distribution of action packs of coupons throughout the Rocky Mount area. For every coupon redeemed at Walgreens, $1 will be donated in support of our national initiative promoting creative programs, resources, and staff development related to our work with schools.”

The packs feature $65 worth of coupons that can be redeemed at Walgreens when purchasing a variety of products such as Zyrtec, Children’s Tylenol, Visine, Rogaine, Children’s Motrin and Acuvue Brand Contact Lenses. Coupons may also be obtained online at www.carewithpride.com.

“We welcome the involvement of parents, families, friends and allies who support us in our PFLAG mission,” said Susan Ayers, chapter president. “This partnership will provide more educational resources in our fight against bullying as we work together to create an environment of respect for all in our schools and in our community.”
